I find a lot of joy in understanding the places I find myself living in. Many of my illustrations are accompanied by lots of research, studying, and if I’m lucky enough, time spent with the species I’m enjoying most. Growing up obsessed with any field guide I could get my hands on (not much has changed in that regard!), I’ve spent hours absorbed in the art and magnificent lives of the creatures we share a home planet with. The plants and animals that inhabit wild, or even not-so-wild spaces fill my cup of inspiration without fail - and so do their often grand and rich habitats.
